SafeSchool 4.0 is the application ENEA able to measure the energy-structural vulnerability of school buildings.
The application - made by the Agency for Energy Efficiency and Earthquake Engineering Laboratory and prevention of natural hazards and conducted as part of the National Campaign on Energy Efficiency Class A in Italy - is a tool available Technicians industry and has a dual purpose: to guide users in the relief of both energy and structural building by analyzing the critical issues.
The application will perform the comparison between the actual consumption of the building and the reference energy consumption benchmark for school buildings, giving the building a class of merit both of consumption for heating and for both those electricity (by classifying the school as good / fair / poor).The information is divided by type into three distinct sections:• general data such as the location of the institute, the building type, the state of maintenance of the installations;• structural investigation to define the main characteristics of the building and the area where it is located;• Energy survey to define the main energy characteristics of the building, facilities and services.Within these sections there are all the various aspects to be detected, grouped in graphical form by means of icons and type of data to be entered.
then filling the input data required in the various sections of the application, you are obtained as final results:• The report of the survey carried out in editable format (complete with photos and references to design documents examined during the inspections);• the level of energy quality step (for heating and electricity) and the list of actions necessary to improve their performance;• the level of intervention and the Priority Level, highlighting critical situations from a structural point of view and allowing a first evaluation of the intervention priorities;• a file in XML format contains all the information entered by the technician, which will be used by ENEA to create a platform for strategic planning for the implementation of security measures and upgrading the energy efficiency for schools and help identify areas with increased need for interventions.The report reproduces the cards filled with data entered by the manager of the diagnosis and contains both structural information that all the energy of the building, and identifies all the necessary actions to improve school buildings.SafeSchool 4.0, in a sustainable, will not only indicate the possible and sustainable technological solutions retrofits on existing buildings according to the regulations, but it will provide, in a single project to the existing Recovery, even pointers on how to set the next structural design ; this of course according to different territorial danger, environment and climate.- Requires that is installed on the device a viewer DOCX files
